“The Power of Music” session in Las Vegas on July 25 will discuss how to enhance the guest experience with music

New Level Radio Vice President and Co-Founder Nathan Green will be a featured speaker at the 2019 Casino Marketing & Technology Conference at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on July 25.

Green will take part in a session titled, "The Power of Music,” which will dive into how casino properties are finding new ways to add quality to the guest experience and boost employee satisfaction with the power of music and marketing.

“It’s so important for all businesses, especially casinos, to keep the music and messaging fresh,” says Green, who also spoke at the Southern Gaming Summitin Biloxi, Mississippi in May. “When you walk into the casino, you immediately smell, taste and hear something. The audio is a huge part of that. Creating a curated environment that is tailored for the specific demographics of your casino at different times of the day helps make what the guest is hearing a part of the whole experience.”

The panel will also include Ryan Frohberg, Chief Marketing Officer for Casino Del Sol in Arizona, and Kell Houston, Senior Partner at Raving, a Native-owned, casino and hospitality company. The moderator will be Justin Shank, Raving Partner, Social Gaming and Marketing.

Under the guidance of Green and his partner Sam Ambrose, New Level Radio launched in 2007, creating a new niche in the radio and music industry. Today, the Denver-based company delivers customizable radio networks for hundreds of businesses across more than 20 U.S. states, particularly in the casino industry where its clients include MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and New York-New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Connecticut, and Affinity Gaming properties throughout Nevada.

Now in its 16th year, Casino Marketing & Technology Conference will be held July 23-25 and is considered the gaming industry’s premier marketing education event, covering every aspect of traditional and digital marketing over two days of concurrent session tracks.Topics will include advertising and promotions, relationship management, customer service, email marketing, social media, mobile marketing and data analytics.

BY NATHAN GREEN, CEO, NEW LEVEL RADIO After years of building New Level Radio from the ground up, I’ve learned something that may be surprising: Success rarely comes from selling. It comes from showing up — especially for others. People say, “It’s all about who you know.” But I’ve found it’s more about how you show up for the people you know — and the people you’re about to meet. Some of the most meaningful growth we’ve had at New Level Radio didn’t come from chasing deals. It came from helping others, even when it didn’t immediately benefit us. When we launched New Level Radio, we were a small startup with big ideas — customizing in-store music and messaging programs for businesses that aligned with a brand’s identity. But we didn’t have a marketing budget or a sales team spanning the country. What we did have were people we knew, and people we were willing to meet.
